Pixar's "Inside Out 2" has become the highest-grossing animated film of all time, reports CNN. This after having taken in 1.46 billion dollars, equivalent to 15.7 billion kronor, since its premiere.
The animated blockbuster has thus pushed "Frozen 2" down from the top spot, which previously held the record.
"Inside Out 2" had its world premiere on June 10 in the USA. In just 19 days, the film took in a billion dollars globally, something no other animated film has managed so quickly.
The film is a sequel to "Inside Out" from 2015. It had its Swedish cinema premiere on July 17.
