A person was taken to hospital by ambulance after a villa fire outside Strömsund that broke out at 5 pm. The extent of the injuries is unknown, the police write on their website.
This is about a one-story villa with an attic. It's a bit unclear where the fire started, but it has burned in the kitchen and now they're working on trying to put out a fire on the attic. They're working full out to be able to save the building, says Björn Nilsson, alarm operator responsible for the rescue service, to Östersunds-Posten.
Besides the rescue service, three police units, an ambulance, and an ambulance helicopter have also been called to the scene, according to ÖP.
