A 29-year-old Danish man has been suspected of 86 crimes, of which 38 concern gross negligence in traffic. In these cases, the man drove more than twice as fast as the permitted speed.
The police in eastern Jutland report this in a press release.
The crimes were discovered when the man drove at high speed on an unregistered motorcycle in early May. The police reacted to the motorcyclist, stopped him, and subsequently gained access to video material from a camera attached to the man's helmet.
"I think I've never seen anything like it," says Police Commissioner Amrik Singh Chadha at the police in eastern Jutland in the press release.
The man was not entirely unknown to the police, as he had previously shared several of his recordings on social media.
"There's no doubt that it's been a large and unusual case for us to investigate. It's been a lot of work going through all the video material," says Singh Chadha.
