It has not been a secret, but now it is also official: Oliver Dovin is leaving Hammarby for Coventry City, which plays in the English second division.

"We are very happy that Oliver is coming to the club. He is a good goalkeeper whose development we have followed for some time, and he will bring quality and competition to the goalkeeper group", says Coventry's coach Mark Robins in a statement on the club's website.

Dovin, who has been in England and trained with Coventry, has now signed a four-year contract with the Championship club.

The goalkeeper came to Hammarby as a twelve-year-old. In the A-team, it was 84 appearances and 28 shutouts.

Dovin has played twice for the Swedish national team, in training matches during the January tour last year.
