Amelia Samuelsson, 19, became a silver medalist in the 59-kilo class at the U20 World Championship in Samokov, Bulgaria.
In the final, the Swede faced the Japanese Sakura Onishi, who is unbeaten for the year and earlier this year won the Asian Championships for seniors. Onishi became as expected too tough for Samuelsson, who has to settle for the silver.
Prior to the final, Samuelsson, who normally competes for AIK Wrestling, won four straight matches. She has previously taken bronze at the U20 European Championship.
