It's fun with handball, but you have to sacrifice very, very much, says Östblom to Bohusläningen.

To end the handball effort is not entirely definitive but applies for the time being, announces Östblom.

It's not a decision made over a night, and it's based on that I want to try a life without handball. Not have any time to pass, to be able to go wherever I want, eat what and when I want, have time off, be able to focus on school and have a regular job, says the 22-year-old to the newspaper.

Now instead awaits a master's education in marketing.

The A-national team debut came during the World Championship qualification matches against Kosovo in April, then it became six goals in two matches.
