The artists Greekazo, Darin, Tuva, and LBSB & Carina Dahl are re-recording old Swedish summer classics in new versions, which will be released exclusively on Spotify starting July 5. First out is Greekazo's version of Tomas Ledin's "Sommaren är kort", which has been given the title "Älskar & hatar".
"It has a good mix of Greekazo, while the feeling of the original remains", says the Hässelby rapper in a press release.
On July 12, Darin's version of Freestyle's hit song "Fantasi" will be released. This will be followed by LBSB & Carina Dahl's interpretation of Mare's "Sunnanvind" and Tuva's dance floor-adapted cover of Veronica Maggio's "Dumpa mig" on July 19 and 26, respectively.
