North Sea Oil Prices Hit Lowest Since 2021 Before Slight Rebound

The price of a barrel of North Sea oil (brent) fell on Wednesday afternoon to its lowest level since 2021. This after statistics were released showing higher production of American WTI oil than expected last week.

At 17.10 Swedish time, brent oil had fallen by 3.36 percent to 68.65 dollars per barrel – the lowest since 2021. WTI oil had fallen 4 percent to 65.53 dollars.

Afterwards, the prices rose again and at 19.30, brent oil was at 69.22 dollars per barrel and WTI oil cost 66.22 dollars.
