The music festival Putte i parken is associated with Värmland and was first arranged in Karlskoga in 2008 before it ended up in Karlstad in 2012. In 2014, the concept was changed and the festival became free for the audience.
But the economic conditions for free festivals are much worse now than before, so Patrik Ekman is letting the concept rest this year.
It's sad, but understandable considering the global economy. The brand and concept remain and we'll see where they land in the future, he says to NWT.
After the pandemic, the festival has moved around and was arranged in Sala last year.
