A 21-year-old man is sentenced to nine years in prison for an attempted murder in Skurup last summer, when a man in his 20s was shot in the leg from close range. The shooting has received extensive attention, since the now convicted 21-year-old's father was shot to death at home in his villa 12 days later.
The convicted has stated that he was walking around armed because he felt threatened and feared that he would be shot any day.
In addition to the prison sentence, he is sentenced to pay over 200,000 kronor in damages, writes Sydsvenskan.
