The star shot Chappell Roan had a tough evening on the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards. The American artist yelled at one of the photographers, telling him to "shut up" and made it clear that it was not okay to take pictures of her while she was getting her clothes fixed before the press gathering.
In an interview with "Entertainment Tonight", Roan says that the red carpet experience was "overwhelming":
For a person who gets anxiety when people scream around you, it's terrifying. So I screamed back, she says.
Roan has previously also gotten angry at boundary-less fans who don't accept that she doesn't always want to pose for pictures.
At the gala, Roan won the award in the category of best newcomer for her hit "Good luck babe".
