Netflix gives the green light for an animated series version of author Stephanie Meyer's novel "Midnattsol", writes the streaming giant on X.
Details such as director and release date are not yet known, but it is clear that Meyer herself will produce the series.
Stephanie Meyer is primarily known for the novel series "Twilight", which has also been filmed with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in the lead roles. "Midnattsol" is the fifth book in the series and describes the events of the first book "If I Could Dream" from the male main character's perspective.
