The construction company NCC is increasing the dividend to shareholders. In connection with the year-end report, the company is proposing a dividend of 9 kronor and an extra dividend of 2 kronor. This can be compared to 9 kronor last year.
The company is simultaneously reporting a lower profit, a total of 779 million kronor for the fourth quarter, which is less than expected. According to Bloomberg, the expectations were 918 million kronor.
The order intake (13.4 billion kronor) was also lower than the same period last year, 16.2 billion kronor. The company is announcing in connection with the year-end report that it will conduct a strategic review of the "industry" business area.
"Different alternatives will be evaluated, including the possibility of divesting the business area," the company writes in the year-end report.
