A shimmering, rectangular prism has been found near the cliffs in a remote mountain range near Las Vegas in the USA.
The monolith, which reflects the desert surroundings it is surrounded by, is being investigated by American authorities since news of its existence spread on social media.
The Las Vegas police found the monolith after a search operation.
"Check this out!" writes the police on X, along with pictures of the object.
Mysterious monoliths began appearing around the world in 2020. The first was found in the desert in the American state of Utah. After that, similar objects were discovered in the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Canada, and the UK.
Several attempts have been made to uncover the origin of the rectangular mirror objects, not least in groups formed on the internet, but the question of who placed them and why remains unanswered.
