In September last year, a man in his 20s was found dead outdoors in connection to the hospital area in Kalix. Now, two men who have been detained on suspicion of murder since then are being released, reports SVT Norrbotten.
The suspicions against them have weakened. I cannot bring charges, says prosecutor Anna Väppling to SVT.
Initially, seven people were arrested, six men and one woman. Several of them were released days later.
The police have previously stated to Norrbottens-Kuriren that the incident occurred in "drug abuse circles" and has no connection to gang criminality.
