Mr Beast sued: "Tormented participants" in new series

Mr Beast drove the contestants in his new competition series so hard that they couldn't eat or rest properly. Furthermore, they were subjected to sexual harassment. This is claimed by five contestants who are now suing YouTube's biggest star and the TV company Amazon.

Mr Beast has made a name for himself by arranging advanced and lucrative competitions and stunts, which have made him the biggest star on Youtube. But his collaboration with the TV company Amazon is now being shaken by a lawsuit from the participants.

The competition "Beast games" is intended to be "the world's largest reality competition with the largest prize sum in world history", according to the organizers. The first prize of five million dollars attracted many to sign up. But several participants are now testifying in their lawsuit that they were mistreated and exploited during filming.

The New York Times reported in August that several participants were injured by the physically demanding and challenging parts of the competition. Several participants had to be taken to hospital.

Neither Mr Beast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, nor Amazon have wanted to comment on the lawsuit.

Mr Beast has more than 300 million subscribers on Youtube and has created big headlines for his videos, which often contain a combination of competitions and charity. Last year, for example, he paid for star operations for 1,000 people. The same year, he was named by Time Magazine as one of the world's most influential people.
