A woman is being prosecuted for gross violation of integrity and gross unlawful coercion against her daughter, who was allegedly forced to put her face in horse manure.
At the same time, the mother is being prosecuted for unlawful coercion against a related boy, who was allegedly threatened to chase and hold the girl in connection with the incident involving horse manure, according to the Prosecution Authority in a press release.
The behavior was part of the woman's upbringing methods, according to the prosecutor for local media.
The prosecution concerns an incident in 2019 in Ljungby municipality, and the reason for the prosecution being brought separately in this part now is that the crime of unlawful coercion has a statute of limitations of five years.
According to prosecutor Nils Eliasson, the mother is suspected of further actions that are to be considered as gross violation of integrity, but they will be further investigated.
