Mjällby's head coach Anders Torstensson will be on sick leave "for a while", the club writes on its website.
During this period, he will be completely absent from his work in Mjällby AIF, and the team will be led by Christoffer Augustsson and Karl Marius Aksum for the time being.
On Sunday, Mjällby will meet Elfsborg in the top division.
