Alex Norén seems to have found his golf form seriously. After finishing seventh and third in his two latest competitions on the PGA tour, the 43-year-old is this week involved in fighting for victory on the DP World Tour (formerly the European tour).
Norén played Saturday's round at The Belfry with 65 strokes (seven under par) and climbed twelve positions to a second place. In total, he is –11, one stroke behind the Englishman Matt Fitzpatrick.
Alex Norén has mostly played on the PGA tour in recent seasons, but after having the start of the year ruined by an injury, he failed to reach the ongoing playoffs.
The Stockholmer has won a total of ten times on the European tour, most recently the French Open in 2018.
Prior to the conclusion of the British Masters, Simon Forsström also has a certain chance of winning. Forsström is shared fifth, three strokes behind Fitzpatrick.
