A 50-year-old man who fell out of his boat in the Umeälven River on July 9 was found dead on Friday evening.
The man's boat was found upside down off Lycksele. The police searched for several days with divers, boats, helicopters, and drones without a trace of the man.
We received the alarm at 22.30 on Friday evening that a private individual had found him, says Mattias Borin, commander at Police Region North.
The man was found in the water not far from where he is believed to have fallen in.
