The total cost of the work that went on from 2018 until October this year has cost the Västra Götaland Region nearly 800 million kronor.
After the project was paused, a hundred consultants are working on, among other things, system development and IT infrastructure, and the region continues to pay around 14 million kronor per month for the project, according to P4 Väst.
And then it's about addressing the deficiencies that have been identified in connection with the deployment in the southern area, says the region's IT chief Richard Karlsson to the channel.
A decision on the future of the journal system is expected to be made in the spring, when an external review is complete.
