A person is sentenced to a conditional sentence, 100 day-fines and to pay 2.7 million kronor in damages after running an illegal IPTV service under the name Scandinavian IPTV.
The verdict in the Patent and Market Court of Appeal takes a different line than the previous one in the Patent and Market Court, where it was deemed that the man had only infringed for a week. The Patent and Market Court of Appeal instead finds the man responsible for the entire period, that is, from 20 August to 17 May, writes Rättighetsalliansen in a press release.
