Who you choose to visit a museum with differs between genders and ages. According to a new report, commissioned by the industry organization Swedish Museums, men prefer to visit museums with their partner, while women choose to go with their friends.
The majority of those who responded to the survey believe they will actually visit museums primarily with their partner, but more men (72 percent) than women (61 percent) answer this.
Women respond to a higher degree that they will visit the museum with friends (48 percent), compared to men (31 percent).
49 percent of people aged 18-29 want to visit more of the large and well-known museums. 70 percent of people aged 30-49 want to visit more museums than they do today.
