Mbappé was "shocked" when he saw his name linked to the Swedish rape case, but says he is in good spirits since "he hasn't done anything wrong", says lawyer Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard.
Sources to Expressen, Aftonbladet, and SVT have stated that the football star is suspected of a rape that allegedly took place on October 10.
The information has not been confirmed from official sources, but the Prosecution Authority announced on Tuesday that a report of rape at a hotel in central Stockholm has been received.
One person is listed as the plaintiff in the case, according to court documents.
The football star himself has previously denied the allegations in a post on the platform X, where he calls them "fake news".
Lawyer Canu-Bernard cannot confirm or deny whether the information is true.
"I have no information that makes it possible to confirm whether this is a suspicion directed against him", she says.
