A woman has been stabbed in the stomach by an unknown man in Götene.
According to the police, a police chase has been initiated to find the suspected perpetrator. The police have, among other things, searched with a helicopter and a dog.
The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance but is said to have been awake and able to speak – and there is no information about life-threatening injuries. The incident is being investigated as an attempted murder, alternatively aggravated assault.
