The Canadian author Margaret Atwood is coming to Sweden, announces her Swedish publisher. On November 4, she will participate in an author conversation at Rival in Stockholm together with critic and literary scholar Ingrid Elam.
Atwood, 84, has written more than 70 books in different genres, and has strongly engaged herself, not least in environmental issues. Among her most read novels are "The Handmaid's Tale", "Alias Grace" and the dystopian "MaddAddam" trilogy. The visit to Sweden will be her first in nine years.
