More than 20 people have died in the Philippines due to floods and landslides caused by Typhoon Gaemi, which has swept across eastern and southern Asia.
In Taiwan, four people have lost their lives and around 500 are reported to have been injured. The storm has caused extensive destruction with heavy rain and strong winds, and thousands of people have been forced to evacuate their homes.
Six people are also missing after a cargo ship sank off the coast of Taiwan.
Hundreds of domestic and international flights have been cancelled due to the storm.
Early on Thursday morning, the typhoon had decreased somewhat in strength and was moving towards the eastern parts of China. Gaemi made landfall in the Chinese province of Fujian around 8 pm local time.
