A 21-year-old man in Östergötland is convicted of a number of sexual offenses against six girls in their early teens. He is sentenced to five and a half years in prison.

The man knew and had met a couple of the girls, while others he had contacted through social media, according to Norrköpings Tidningar.

One of the girls was 13 years old, while the others were 14 years old.

He had forced the children to perform sexual acts on themselves, film it, and send the material to him. The crimes took place from the end of 2023 until the man was arrested in October last year.

The 21-year-old has denied most of the allegations, but made some admissions.

He is now convicted of five counts of child rape and one attempted rape. He is also convicted of several cases of exploiting children for sexual posing, several sexual assaults against children, unlawful threats, and child pornography offenses.

In addition to the prison sentence, the man is ordered to pay a total of approximately 670,000 kronor in damages to the affected girls.
