A man in his 40s in Växjö municipality has been convicted of repeated rapes of a child, local media reports.
The man has on several occasions in the spring assaulted a related girl, who is under ten years old.
He is convicted of nine cases of aggravated child rape and sentenced to nine years in prison. He is also convicted of, among other things, child pornography offenses and sexual exploitation of children.
The man must also pay over one million kronor in damages to the victim.
