A man in his 60s has been missing since Tuesday evening after a kayaking trip at sea off Gräsö in Östhammar municipality.
The sea rescue service and the police have been conducting a search operation since early Wednesday morning, but it has now been concluded.
We have assessed that we have searched the entire area very thoroughly and have not found him, says Emma Nykvist, rescue leader at the Sea Rescue Centre.
We have searched islands and islets and a large part of the water but have not found anything.
