A man has been linked to the dangerous object that was found under a bridge in Kalmar last summer. The person will be requested to be detained, among other things, for preparation for gross general endangerment, reports P4 Kalmar.
Prosecutor Johan Henningsson states that there is technical evidence linking the suspect to the object, which turned out to be live, when it was found by a private individual and then examined by the national bomb squad in August.
It's an improvised explosive device, says the prosecutor.
The suspect, who is already detained for another crime, is also suspected of gross crime against the law on flammable and explosive goods. The prosecutor does not want to comment on how the object was intended to be used.
