A man has been killed and two people injured in a knife attack at East Street Market in south London, according to several British media outlets.
A suspected perpetrator in his 60s was arrested by police at the scene and has been detained, according to Sky News.
Unfortunately, a man lost his life this morning. Police are working hard to determine exactly what happened and are providing support to the man's family, says Peter Stevens, a commander at the London police, according to Sky.
The two injured, a man and a woman, were taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
The police state that the act is not terror-related.
