A man has been detained on suspicion of attempted murder after driving into another man in Västerås, reports P4 Västmanland.
It was on Monday that a man was seriously injured after being hit by a car near a bus stop.
According to witnesses, the collision appears to have been intentional. The police went out after the incident and asked the public for information about a dark, smaller car that likely suffered damage in the collision.
Prosecutor Sofia Willenfors confirms to VLT that a man was arrested on Wednesday and later detained on probable cause suspected of attempted murder, but is otherwise silent.
