A factory building in Trollhättan has burned down in connection with a fire during the night leading up to Thursday.
The fire started at around 02:00 with a strong smoke development on site. Early in the morning – at 07:00 – the rescue service in Fyrbodal reports that there is no longer any risk of spreading.
We have dismantled all stations except one that remains on after-surveillance until the police take over, says Patrik Karlsson, duty officer at the rescue service to TT.
No one is reported to have been injured in connection with the fire. The burned-down building was used for winter storage of, among other things, caravans, motorhomes, and boats.
Seven to eight meters away was a similar building. We have saved that one, says Patrik Karlsson.
According to the police, the fire is being investigated as arson.
