Two Swedes have been sentenced to 10 and 7 years in prison in Finland for, among other things, serious narcotics offenses and firearms offenses, reports Hufvudstadsbladet.
The crimes are said to have taken place between July and November last year. The individuals are said to have acted together and are linked to an organized criminal network controlled from Sweden, the newspaper writes. They are said to have, among other things, imported and distributed large quantities of narcotics in Finland.
"It has been a clearly organized activity with a clear division of labor", the district court writes in its judgment according to the newspaper.
An additional Swede has been sentenced to five years in prison for serious narcotics offenses.
The judgments are, according to Hufvudstadsbladet, part of a larger investigation where several Swedes in June were sentenced for serious narcotics offenses after 147 kilograms of amphetamine were found in the trunk of a car. According to the newspaper, it is considered the single largest seizure in Finland.
