The accident occurred at the end of April this year at Kebnekaise where the two men fell over a hundred meters in connection with cleaning up after a completed competition in the area.

After the incident, the Work Environment Authority initiated an investigation and now points out a number of deficiencies in the work environment at STF.

Among other things, there is a lack of "clear, accessible and target group-adapted instructions for hazardous work". The Work Environment Authority therefore sets a number of requirements to rectify the deficiencies – including ensuring that employees have sufficient knowledge and that there are clear routines for how risk assessments should be made.

STF now has until 2 October to rectify the deficiencies, in order not to risk a fine.
