We currently know nothing about the circumstances. They must have gone aground for some reason during an exercise and flown around in the cockpit and hit themselves, he says.

The alarm about the vessel going aground came in to SOS Alarm just before 3 pm. The Coast Guard, police boat, and the Swedish Maritime Administration's helicopter have all been involved in the rescue operation.

One person has been taken to hospital by helicopter and one person to Saltholmen, where an ambulance will meet up to take the person, says Jens Andersson, press spokesperson for the police in Västra Götaland.

According to Sahlgrenska Hospital, the man who was taken there by helicopter is lightly injured. Göte 2 is now being towed ashore and the maritime police are working to gather information.

The maritime police are working on site to see if this can lead to any suspected crime. They have no classification at this point, says Jens Andersson.
