Princess Anne, sister to Britain's King Charles III, has sustained minor injuries and a concussion in an accident.
According to Buckingham Palace, the accident occurred at the princess's country estate, Gatcombe Park, in Gloucestershire County. Exactly what happened is, however, unclear.
She has now been admitted to a hospital in Bristol for observation and is expected to make a full recovery, the royal household stated in a statement.
In light of King Charles and his daughter-in-law Princess Kate's cancer diagnoses, Anne has taken on more official duties in recent times. However, these will be postponed for the coming week, according to Buckingham Palace.
Princess Anne is 73 years old and one of the late Queen Elizabeth's four children.
