The employee, lawyer Aaron Siri, specializes in vaccine lawsuits, reports The New York Times.

Siri is also said to have requested that the distribution of 13 other vaccines be stopped, challenged the requirements for vaccination against covid-19, sued authorities to gain access to vaccine protocols, and legally forced prominent vaccine researchers to account for their activities on video.

Much of the work has been done through the vaccine-critical organization Informed Consent Action Network, which is considered to be close to Kennedy. The polio lawsuit was submitted to the pharmaceutical agency FDA in 2022.

Aaron Siri has been by Robert F Kennedy's side ever since Trump nominated him for the position of health minister, after the presidential election victory in November. This means that Siri has participated in interviews with prospective high-ranking officials at the department, hearings that have been held at Trump's residence Mar-a-Lago in Florida.

Kennedy has previously stated that he does not want to take away Americans' access to vaccines. But his close relationship with Siri raises questions ahead of the upcoming Senate hearing – the chamber that must approve his appointment, writes The New York Times.
