Hollywood star Keanu Reeves' professional car racing debut ended with a spin-off. A little more than halfway through the 45-minute race on the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the "Matrix" star spun into the grass at the exit of turn 9.
Reeves, 60, competes in the Toyota GR Cup racing series and had qualified as 31st out of 35 cars. At best, he was in 21st place during the race and successfully avoided a crash on the first lap. Now, Reeves finished in 25th place.
Reeves' car, number 92, is named BRZRKR (pronounced berserker), which is also the name of his comic book series.
This is not the first time Keanu Reeves has competed in racing. In 2009, he won the celebrity race Toyota Grand Prix in Long Beach.
