The music video for the new single "Lifetimes" is directed by Stillz and produced by the company Weownthecity. The video shows, among other things, Katy Perry on a boat, dancing on a beach, and diving from cliffs.

The video has now led to an investigation started by the Spanish Balearic Islands' department for agriculture, fishing, and environment. They claim that Perry's production company filmed the video without permission in Ses Salines nature park. The park is a World Heritage site that stretches across the islands of Ibiza and Formentera.

According to reports, the video recording took place in an ecologically sensitive area with rich wildlife and vegetation.
