The American rapper Kanye West has landed on Russian soil and is now in Moscow, reports Russian media on Sunday, according to AFP.
There have been rumors that the rapper will give a concert in the capital, but the information is not confirmed.
Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the USA and Europe have driven massive sanctions against Moscow, including travel restrictions. West is one of the exceptions among Western artists who want to perform in Russia.
Kanye West has recently caused a stir with political statements in the USA. He has, among other things, praised Hitler, and has previously expressed admiration for Putin.
