Justin Timberlake was arrested earlier in the week on suspicion of drink-driving. During a concert in Chicago on Friday evening, he spoke for the first time about the incident, reports Hollywood Reporter.
We've been through ups and downs, with and against the tide. It's been a tough week, but you're here and I'm here, and nothing can change this moment, he said, according to several clips from the concert spreading on social media.
The artist was arrested on Monday evening in Sag Harbor, located in the luxurious holiday resort of The Hamptons in the state of New York. He was released from custody on Tuesday and is due to appear in court on 26 July.
