Johnny Depp is to play Satan in director Terry Gilliam's upcoming film "The carnival at the end of days", writes NME.
Jeff Bridges plays God, and names like Adam Driver and Jason Momoa are also set for the film.
The film is described as a comedy where God decides to destroy humanity, while Satan, on the other hand, tries to save it.
Terry Gilliam is behind films such as "Monty Python's crazy world", "The Fisher King", "The Twelve Monkeys" and "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". The new film is set to start filming at the beginning of next year.
