He missed the qualifying limit in the season's last European Tour golf tournament (before the lucrative final tournaments). However, after the tournament was finished, it became clear that Swede Jens Dantorp will get to play on the tour again next year – as the second-to-last player. He is in 113th place out of the 114 who receive a playing card.
The best Swedish player on the ranking is Jesper Svensson, who during his debut season on the DP World Tour, which the European Tour is now called, has won a tournament. Svensson is eighth and will of course play in the final in the United Arab Emirates in November, as will Sebastian Söderberg and Ludvig Åberg.
