At least eleven people have been killed in an Israeli attack that is said to have targeted a group of police officers in a school building in Gaza on Sunday, according to reports from the Gaza Strip.
From the Israeli side, it is claimed that a command center for the terrorist-stamped Hamas was hit.
Eleven people, including a woman and a girl, were killed when an Israeli air strike hit Safad school in Gaza City, where people fleeing had taken shelter, says Mahmud Bassal, spokesperson for Gaza's civil defense.
He adds that several others were also injured.
"IAF (Israeli Air Force) hit Hamas terrorists who were working in a command and control center within the area that previously functioned as Safad school in Gaza City", the military states in a statement.
