Gaza has received the remains of 80 unidentified Palestinians returned by Israel, announces the Hamas-controlled civil defense authority in Gaza.
The bodies have been buried in a mass grave near Khan Yunis.
According to the authority's director Yamen Abu Suleiman, Israel provided no information about the bodies - neither names nor where they were found.
We do not know if they are martyrs (killed in Gaza) or prisoners from (Israel's) prisons, he says to AFP.
In a statement, the terrorist-designated Hamas implies that Israel's return of unidentified bodies "exacerbates the suffering of the martyrs' and the missing persons' families, who are trying to find out the fate of their abducted children or bury their martyrs in a dignified manner".
The Israeli military has not commented on the matter.
In December, Israel also returned the remains of 80 Palestinians killed in Gaza, after taking them from graves and morgues to check that no hostages were among them.
