The tour will be a 50-year anniversary for the band, which was formed by Steve Harris in late 1975. Therefore, a setlist with many songs taken from the band's early career is promised.
Iron Maiden's European tour begins in Budapest on May 27. In addition to the performances in Stockholm, the Brits will also play at several other locations in the Nordic region; June 5 in Trondheim, June 7 in Stavanger, June 9 in Copenhagen, and June 16 in Helsinki.
Iron Maiden last played in Sweden at the Sweden Rock festival last year. The last major arena performance was at Ullevi in Gothenburg in 2022, but this time the Brits have chosen to play in Stockholm instead.
