The real story is what's happening in Palestine, not what we say, says Móglaí Bap in the DN interview.

Kneecap has received as much attention for their music as for their political activism, which over the past two years has revolved around Gaza.

Band member Mo Chara is charged with terrorist crimes, since a clip circulated where he waved a Hezbollah flag on stage in London and shouted: "Up Hamas!", "Up Hezbollah!".

For legal reasons, Kneecap does not want to talk about ongoing court cases or the allegations against the band member. On Instagram, however, they have distanced themselves from the groups.

Recently, the band received notice that they are denied entry into Hungary where they were to play in Budapest. In addition, a three-year entry ban is issued.

It's strange to be banned from an EU country for three years. I don't know if I've heard anything like it. But it won't stop us from continuing to play or speak out, says Móglaí Bap.
