A Swedish woman who is internationally wanted has been arrested by the police on the Spanish island of Lanzarote, writes Swedish Magazine.
The 32-year-old woman has been detained in her absence since 2022 and is wanted by Swedish authorities for serious drug offenses, drug smuggling, and money laundering.
The newspaper writes that the suspicions against the woman were raised in connection with the investigation of the currency exchange office World Exchange, where twelve people were convicted of, among other things, money laundering totaling 220 million kronor to criminal networks.
She risks 14 years in prison if convicted, writes the newspaper.
